Luftgekühlt 4

I love the way this event feels because I love Porsches and I love consonants. And they've got plenty of both.—Jerry Seinfeld, LUFTBOOK pg.162

On Sunday May 7th, the skyline of cranes and shipping containers of the iconic Port Of Los Angeles became the mise en scène for a multitude of hundreds of air-cooled Porsches at the fourth edition of Patrick Long and Howie Idelson's Luftgekühlt held at Municipal Warehouse No. 9 and 10 in San Pedro, California. The cars and people attending this year's gathering was simply jaw dropping. From historical heroes like the legendary 1,100+hp 917 raced by Mark Donohue to well-loved crusty daily drivers, the cars and personalities who make this air-cooled fervor a shining beacon of light were all present and each and every one contributed to this joyous celebration.
Deus Ex Machina was a partner again this year, providing merch muscle and lending our hand to Luftgekühlt's brand identity with Deus co-founder and creative director, Carby Tuckwell, producing artwork and working in collaboration with the Luft team on their apparel merchandise.
Event attendees had first dibs on getting their hands on the LUFTBOOK, a 260 page visual mélange that captures the first three Luftgekühlt gatherings. With free world-wide shipping included, the limited first edition of the book is now available HERE and at your nearest Deus Flagship location.
